As the popularity of hair extensions grows, consumers should become more informed about their options in terms of price, quality, and variety. There are many different types of hair on the market, the most popular of which are Virgin or Remy hair, followed by Raw Hair.

What exactly is Raw Hair?

Raw Hair donors live in India, Vietnam, and other countries. Important to note is that Raw Hair is sourced directly from the country of origin. Both virgin and raw hair are extensions made from human hair; however, raw hair has not been steamed processed, or chemically altered in any way.

Because Raw Hair is not chemically altered it is only available in only three textures: straight, natural wavy, and curly. Curly hair is the most rare of all raw hair types and the most expensive.

CROWNZ Hair and Beauty sells both Raw Indian Hair and Raw Vietnamese Hair. Our Raw Indian Hair is sourced directly from the temples in southeast India. Raw hair is the highest quality available on the market.

When purchasing hair, keep in mind that human hair extension bundles will be similar but inconsistent in texture because hair textures vary from donor to donor.

Hair in the various bundles may be sourced from more than one donor to achieve the desired length and weight of 100 grams per bundle. Because it is 100 percent natural, this hair is of the highest quality in the world.

Although there will be slight variations in the hair, the quality of the hair will always be excellent when it comes to our hair.

This hair has not been chemically altered and is not steamed processed, so it is available in three textures: straight, natural wavy, and curly, which is the rarest. Styles such as body waves, deep waves, Spanish waves, etc., are not available in raw hair textures.

Hair is washed, conditioned, and sold to the end-user in its natural state, and it can be used to make clip-ins, bundle wefts, tape-ins, tips, wigs, and so on. This hair is typically less shiny than virgin hair and blends better with coarser textures.

It has a very natural appearance and blends in well with your own hair. This hair usually needs a lot of moisturizing and conditioning. Quality styling products will make a big difference in the final outcome.

While this hair is of better quality and will be more costly. Properly cared for virgin hair can last two to three years while this hair can last five years or longer. Quality virgin hair can also be expensive, but this hair is usually a little pricier.

CROWNZ Hair and Beauty‘s Indian hair is very popular with our customers. Indian hair is just a hint lighter than natural black Brazilian hair and may be preferred by those with lighter tones. This is perfect for those who do leave out hairstyles.

Our Raw Vietnamese hair has either a straight or wavy texture and is smooth which is great for blending with natural hair. Our Raw Indian hair is curly or wavy and more coarse blending well with thicker hair types.

Do you prefer the natural coarse texture of raw hair or do you prefer virgin hair’s trendy textures and patterns?
